The Ladies Section at Carswell is well known for its friendliness and plays a very important part in the activities of the club.
New members of all ages and abilities are always guaranteed a very warm welcome. The section is thriving with over 60 members, most of whom maintain a current LGU handicap. There is a full programme of both serious and fun competitions including mixed events.
Ladies mornings are on Mondays and Wednesdays. Seven day members have the option of playing their medal and stableford competitions at the weekend when there are reserved tee-times. Many of the Ladies are actively involved in both County and National Competitions such as the Daily Mail Foursomes. There are also a number of friendly matches against other clubs in the area.
Thanks to the energy and enthusiasm of the Ladies, the section has grown in strength and numbers in recent years. It is proud to have host several county competitions and to have staged it's own very popular Open.
